Hopi Ear Candling

A wonderfully relaxing treatment, particularly effective for the treatment of ear, sinus and throat problems, migraines, headaches, glue ear, catarrh, sore throats, tonsillitis and excessive ear wax and many more conditions relating to the above.

Hopi ear candles are hollow tubes made in the traditional Hopi Indian way using organic herbal preparations infused in honey and beeswax and wrapped in organic linen. The candles work by gently drawing out debris from the ear, while the soothing, anti-infective herbal vapour circulates, mildly warming the ear canal and sinuses while regulating the pressure within and improving blood and lymph flow, thereby stimulating the healing process.

The treatment is completed with a relaxing head and shoulder massage that is guaranteed to send you to sleep.

For a typical Aromatherapy treatment, essential oils are blended with a fixed, or carrier oil and their application combined with therapeutic massage. This combination offers an exceptional treatment for stress, muscle and joint problems and conditions of poor circulation.

Essential oils may also be used in topical preparations or as inhalations or in drops added to bathwater (by recommendation of a qualified practitioner only).
